Welcome to the website of Éire Neamhchloíte. We are a political movement that centres around left wing Irish nationalism, Irish unity and standing for what is right even when our government and other political parties in the Dáil disagree.
Our core ideas are the following:
1. We stand with the idea that all of the island of Ireland should be under the sovereignty of the Republic of Ireland. Not a meter less.
2. We want to revive the national language of our country, Gaelige. We also want to protect the indigenous language of the Ulster Scot community, which is Ulster Scots.
3. We support more control on immgration and a more airtight asylum system. Immigrants are expected to learn English and Irish, work, contribute to society and follow our laws.
4: We stand for the rights of women and the LGBTQ+ community. Every Irish citizen and resident is equal regardless of sex, gender, race, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, any disabilities (or lack thereof).
5: We support EU membership and staying in the Eurozone. Ireland would gain nothing out of leaving either.6: We support the protection of all speech. Freedom of speech does not equal freedom of consequences, meaning if you get attacked, suspended/expelled/fired from school or work for something you said, its your own fault. Simply put, say what you want, just be prepared for the consequences that can arise from it.
7: We support direct democracy, meaning we support Irish citizens directly voting on major political changes.
8: We support major reforms regarding the justice system. Rape, sexual assault and domestic abuse are not punished near hard enough.
9: We are a social democratic movement, meaning we support universal access to healthcare, education and social housing, with regulations on capitalism to protect workers rights.
10: We support stronger local government, as we feel the centralised government do not know what rural areas of Ireland actually need.
11: We are against the triple lock. We should not need the permission of the UN to deploy the Irish Defence Forces on peacekeeping missions, as this can allow the incompetent major world superpowers (Russia, China and the United States) to veto our deployment of troops.
12: We support lowering fuel tax for farmers, truckers and fishermen, as fuel prices are getting way too out of hand and farmers, truckers and fishermen keep this country running.
13: We strongly stand against imperialism. This means we support opressed people's fight for freedom. Namely we support Ukraine and Palestine. Because of this we also support nationalising Aughnish Alumina, which has been supplying materials to the Russian war machines in Georgia and Ukraine since 2008.
14: We support the introduction of more reliable and more common public transport and bike lanes in towns and cities, so that Ireland is less reliant on cars ands thus can reduce our carbon emissions, while not inhibiting the lives of people who need to use cars for work or hobbies.
